Globe University-Sioux Falls is a direct descendant of Globe College, which as established in 1885 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Our school has always focused on practical education leading to rewarding careers in business and other fields. It has often been at the forefront of business training; for example, it was one of the first schools to offer training on stenotype machines in the Twin Cities area. Today, it offers prepares students for jobs in information technology, health science and legal science as well as business and accounting.

Contemporary campus, traditional mission
Globe University today bears little physical resemblance to Globe College of the 19th century. The university today is a member of Globe Education Network, a consortium of career colleges that includes Minnesota School of Business and Utah Career College. Although we have expanded, our mission remains the same — to provide students with the practical training they need for successful careers.
Programs that meets the needs of today’s students
We have expanded our degree programs over the years to include health science, legal science and information technology. Students can now earn master’s, bachelor’s and associate degrees as well as career diplomas in a range of fields from veterinary technology to massage therapy. We are more than a business college – we are a career college.
Accredited college
Globe University-Sioux Falls is accredited by ACICS (Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools) to award masters, bachelor’s and associate degrees, professional certificates and technical diplomas.

Online education
Many of our degree programs are available fully online. Students can also take some classes through our online division and others at our Sioux Falls campus. This flexibility makes education accessible to a broad community of learners.
