Diverse student body

Our students include high school seniors who have enrolled in the High School Advantage program, recent graduates, returning adults and military veterans. Whatever their ages or backgrounds, they appreciate the small classes, the personal attention and the support our career services department provides for their job searches.

  • High School Students. Many of our students are recent high school graduates or current high school seniors who have enrolled early to get a taste of college.
  • Returning Adults. Our students include adult learners who enroll at Globe University to complete their college educations, change careers or obtain the training and skills they need to advance in their professions.
  • Military Students. Globe University offers special programs for US military personnel, including veterans, active duty personnel and their families. We have representatives whose only job is to assist military students with the application and financial processes.

Many students at the Sioux Falls campus of Globe University are parents; many work full-time. Our part-time, evening and online programs make it possible for people with busy lives to earn college degrees.

Activities that relate to student programs

Our student activities are designed to build community and to reinforce classroom learning. Students can participate in organizations such as the following:

  • SCNAVTA (Student Chapter of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians)
  • DEX (The student organization of DECCA, an international business organization)
  • Legal Club (for paralegal and criminal justice students)

And if a student wants to start a new campus organization to meet an unfilled need, our student services staff can help.
