Financial Aid

Many students put off applying to college because of the cost of tuition. They may not know that financial aid is available to eligible students. At Globe University-Sioux Falls, we have financial aid coordinators who help students determine their eligibility for scholarships, loans and grants.

Each student’s situation is different, so it is important to work with a counselor who understands your circumstances. To request financial aid information, contact our Sioux Falls college. Call us at 1-877-303-6060. Find out about our scholarship programs and about loans and grants available to eligible students from other sources.

Scholarship awards

Our college offers a variety of scholarships, including those for the following:

A financial aid coordinator can provide more information about eligibility for scholarships and programs such as those listed here:

  • President’s Scholarship. For eligible high school seniors with a 2.0 GPA, this scholarship pays up to $2000 toward tuition (depending on the student’s application date).
  • Director’s Academic Scholarship. For eligible high school seniors, the amount of the Director’s Academic Scholarship award is determined by student performance on the Career Profile Assessment test. Depending on a student’s score on this test, he or she can receive up to $5000 toward tuition.
  • Dream Act Scholarship. A student who has successfully completed high school and has undocumented immigration status may receive up to 50 percent toward the cost of a college program leading to a degree or technical diploma if he or she meets other eligibility criteria. One Dream Act Scholarship will be awarded at our Sioux Falls campus.
  • Military Advantage Scholarship. This award provides eligible military students with 10 percent of the cost of tuition and books each quarter.
  • Purple Heart Scholarship. Service members and veterans wounded while serving in the Gulf Wars may be eligible for the Purple Heart Scholarship. Spouses and dependents of soldiers killed in action during these conflicts may also apply. The award covers tuition and fees remaining after all other awards and benefits are applied.
  • Military Service Scholarship. Depending on the college program selected, an eligible military student severely wounded while serving in Iraq or Afghanistan may receive up to $5000 toward the cost of tuition.
  • Military Active Duty Scholarship. Qualified active duty service members and their families will receive scholarships for the difference between the current tuition rate and $250.
  • High School Advantage. This program allows an eligible high school senior to get a head start on a college education by taking up to four courses tuition-free during the senior year.
  • Business Alliance Scholarship. This scholarship awards up to 10 percent of tuition to students employed by one of Globe University’s business alliance partners.
  • Community Service Scholarship. This program awards up to $2000 to students with GPAs of 3.5 or higher, a 90 percent attendance rate and a record of community service that supports education and benefits the community.
